Over the last few days I have been covered in white paint splatters, not so great spilt on black leggings! It is all for a good cause though as I am preparing to move into a new studio. I am counting down the days til I can hop around the space moving things here and there.
This week is warming up to be very busy, with preparing for my visit to Dromkeen on Sunday, packing boxes to move studio, getting work ready for a school art exhibition and making a paper mache toadstool. If you feel like a ramble in the countryside on Sunday, come and say hello at the lovely Dromkeen!
I hope you are enjoying the long weekend. This delightful scrap of silk is the fabric I have finally settled on to recover an old chair. After clutching handfuls of antique kimono silks and rifling through rolls of tradtional Japanese fabrics from here I found the treasure above and knew my search was over.
Mmmmmm. A new paint pallette, delicious. I picked this up on the weekend and can't help just having it open on my desk and looking at it. Dreaming of possibilities. I better stop dreaming and start drawing!
A while ago I bought this beautiful dress from here. Nadia, the creator of these story tale clothes kindly featured some of my illustrations over here.
