Over the last few days I have been covered in white paint splatters, not so great spilt on black leggings! It is all for a good cause though as I am preparing to move into a new studio. I am counting down the days til I can hop around the space moving things here and there.

This is one of the delightful sculptures in the garden of Dromkeen. On Sunday the children and I traipsed out to Dromkeen to spend the afternoon meeting lovely people, painting, looking at books and waving peacock feathers. Thank you to the kind carers of Dromkeen for looking after us with chats, cups of tea and dainty sandwiches.

Congratulations to Emma Quay for her book 'Shrieking Violet' being shortlisted in the NSW Premier's Literary Awards 2011. Yay for Violet and Emma!

Emma was also the author of our friends above, Panda Sheep and Owl. :-)
